  • The maximum size of all uploaded attachments should not exceed 100MB. If the total for all attachments exceeds 100MB, please contact the City.

    Please note that the electronic lodgement of Development Assessment Panel (DAP) Applications will not be accepted. Applicants should discuss the lodgement of a DAP Application with a Planning Officer or email the Planning Department.

    Should development applications with an estimated cost of development between $2 million or more and less than $10 million be lodged using this system it will be assumed that the applicant is nominating the City of Belmont to determine the application.

    Subdivision ClearanceFor the purposes of calculating the number of proposed lots, each common property lot is counted as one lot, areas reserved for the purpose of a pedestrian access way, right of way, truncation, road widening, drainage reserve or recreation reserve are not counted as lots.

    Construction Training Fund (CTF)

    Where the estimated value of constructions exceeds $20,000 CTF levy payments should be paid directly via the CTF Portal. Further information on the CTF levy can be found here

    We are taking longer than usual to process building applications, due to resourcing pressures. The current processing time is 10 to 20 business days for certified applications, and 25 to 35 business days for uncertified applications. If we take longer to process your application than the statutory timeframes, the applicable application fees as prescribed under the Building Act 2011 will be refunded. We apologise for any inconvenience.

    When lodging a Infrastructure Services Clearance Application, a non-refundable fee is required to be paid on submission of the application
